Ahmed Rashid is a Professor of Medical Education at UCL Medical School, where he leads the UCL Centre for International Medical Education Collaborations, including current projects in Saudi Arabia, China, Thailand, UAE, Egypt, and Jordan.
He has served as a higher education accreditation reviewer in UAE and Bahrain, as a medical school external examiner in the UK and Oman, and has advised on postgraduate medical training in Vietnam, Japan, and Mexico.
His areas of interest include Public Health, Primary Care, International and Humanitarian Medicine, Educational Assessment, Higher Education, and International Education.
He has published extensively in various domains of medical education.
