Amol, an eminent public health specialist, a Professor in Community Medicine and Medical Education, is presently heading the Department of Extension Programmes at Pramukhswami Medical College, Bhaikaka University at Gujarat.
In addition to the wide expertise in public health, he has an immeasurable passion for medical education.
His areas of interest include Healthcare, Health Promotion, E-Learning for Epidemiology & Statistics, Educational Technology, Epidemiology, Assessment, Quantitative research methodology, and Questionnaire development.
He conducted many workshops related to medical education, statistics, and research methodology. He had been a member of various administrative committees.
He has authored more than 140 publications in the domains of preventive medicine and medical education.
